Plant City Pediatrics Physician, Timothy B. Williams, D.O., F.A.A.P., is a native of Bradenton, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in science education from the University of South Florida and a Master of Education degree from the University of Central Florida. He taught physics, chemistry, earth/space science and anatomy/physiology at Clermont High School in Clermont, Florida for three years before entering medical school. He received his medical degree from Nova-Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl May, 1993. Dr. Williams completed his Pediatrics Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas June 1996. He then completed his United States Army obligation at Ft Knox, KY. While serving at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Ft Knox, KY, he was twice awarded the Army Achievement Medal. Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P). He has been practicing since 1993. Dr. Williams and his wife have lived in Plant City since 1998. They have five children. They regularly attend Transforming Life Ministries in Plant City.
Plant City Pediatrics Physician Assistant, Emily Buchholz, grew up in Pittsford, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Emily lived in Texas for five years, where she worked at a Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for one year and then at a Children's Medical Center in Dallas for two years before entering PA school. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Emily is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Asssitants. Emily and her husband Kenny currently reside in Lakeland, Florida.

Plant City Pediatrics Physician Assistant, Noemi Melendez-Kaylor, was born in NYC and moved to Tampa, FL. at the age of twelve. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Natural Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the Univeristy of South Florida. During college, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, also at a day center with children, and at Women's Health Center. She entered the Physician Assistant program at the University of Florida in Gainseville and received her Masters. After graduating, Noemi worked as a PA at Moffitt Cancer Center. Noemi is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Noemi is fluent in Spanish and English. She is married and lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband. They are active in their church in Lutz, Florida.

Plant City Pediatrics Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Katie Steward, was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. While in school she was very active in the Nurses Christian Fellowship and was a College of Nursing Student Senator for University of Florida Student Government. She then specialized in Pediatrics and was employed as a nurse at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fl. After marrying and moving to the Plant City area she began work at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She received her Masters Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of South Florida, College of Nursing. Katie is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP). She currently resides in Plant City, FL.

Plant City Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner, Courtney Jones, was born and raised in Lakeland, FL. She studied at the University of Florida for 3 years before moving to Louisville, KY to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Louisville. Following graduation, Courtney worked as a nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville. She moved back to Florida in 2002 to begin the Masters of Science in Nursing program at USF in Tampa, where she lived with her husband and worked in the pediatric ER at St Joseph's Hospital. After graduating from USF and becoming a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP), Courtney worked with a pediatric neurologist in Tampa before moving back to Lakeland with her husband last year. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the American Epilepsy Society and the Association of Child Neurology Nurses.

Plant City Pediatrics Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Jamie Floyd, was born and raised in Clearwater, FL. She attended the University of Florida where she recieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a minor in Business Administration. A die-hard Gator, she continued her schooling in Gainesville and completed her Master degree in Nursing. During her time at UF, she was an active volunteer at Shands Children's Hospital. She also completed her honors thesis analyzing arts in pediatric care. After graduation, Jamie worked at Children's Medical center in north-central Florida for two years before moving to the Tampa area. Jamie is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a CPNP, and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She is getting Married in March and currently resides in Wesley Chapel.
